GET OUTTA TOWN

Cinemavixion Review

Charles Davis's 1960 crime drama, "Get Outta Town," plunges viewers into the gritty underworld of Los Angeles. The film centers on Kelly, a former enforcer who returns to his roots following the brutal murder of his younger brother, Tommy. Driven by a potent mix of grief and vengeance, Kelly embarks on a relentless killing spree against the gang responsible for Tommy's demise. Starring Doug Wilson, Jeanne Baird, and Marilyn O'Connor, the film, despite its obscure status, offers a compelling narrative of retribution. While perhaps not a mainstream hit, "Get Outta Town" serves as a noteworthy example of the B-movie crime thrillers of its era, exploring themes of loyalty, violence, and the inescapable pull of one's past.
