GERARD SCHAEFER: THE "KILLER COP" WHO FOOLED EVERYONE

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling case of Gerard Schaefer Jr., a former police officer whose badge concealed a monstrous secret. The film meticulously unpacks how Schaefer, convicted of two murders in Martin County, Florida, managed to deceive those around him while privately confessing to a far greater number of atrocities. We are presented with a disturbing narrative of a man who, despite his imprisonment, continued to boast of killing over 30 women and girls. The documentary serves as a stark reminder of the darkness that can lurk beneath a veneer of authority, prompting viewers to question how such a predator could operate within the system for so long.
