GEO-DISASTER

Cinemavixion Review

Thunder Levin's "Geo-Disaster" plunges viewers into a world grappling with an existential threat originating from the cosmos. When a dark matter anomaly tears through Earth, the film chronicles the ensuing chaos and the desperate struggle for survival. Set against a backdrop of global cataclysm, the narrative focuses on a family in Los Angeles attempting to navigate the treacherous aftermath. While the premise offers a potent sci-fi disaster scenario, the film's execution, as reflected in its modest IMDb rating of 2.8/10, suggests a challenging journey for its characters and, by extension, its audience. Despite its critical reception, "Geo-Disaster" presents a classic disaster movie trope with a cosmic twist, exploring themes of resilience and the fragility of civilization in the face of unimaginable forces.
