GATHERINGS OF BUNYAMIN'S CAR LOVE - BEATIFUL VILLAGER

Cinemavixion Review

This narrative centers on Gul, a young woman adrift in a profound depression, disillusioned with the frenetic pace of Istanbul and heartbroken by a separation from her lover, Kaan. Seeking solace, she retreats to the tranquil village of Muğla/Güzelköy. There, she finds an unexpected connection with Sultan Ana, an elderly woman who mistakes her for her grandchild. Gul's sisters eventually join her, and the women settle in with Sultan Ana. The plot thickens when Kaan, Gul's ex-fiancé, arrives in the village, but Gul is resolute in her decision not to reconcile. Her affections have turned towards Cemal, a local villager. The story explores Gul's journey as an urbanite navigating a new love affair amidst the rustic charm of village life, directed by Mustafa Şevki Doğan and featuring Gizem Karaca, Berk Cankat, and Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu.
