FRONTIER DAYS
Cinemavixion Review
Robert F. Hill's 1934 Western, "Frontier Days," offers a classic tale of land-grabbing and justice in the old West. Starring Bill Cody as the Pinto Kid, the film meticulously lays out a scheme by Henry Jethrow to seize the Wilson ranch. Jethrow orchestrates the murder of George Wilson and attempts to claim the property using a forged note. The plot thickens as the Pinto Kid becomes entangled, framed for the murder after inadvertently leaving evidence at the scene. Aided by Beth Wilson, the Kid must not only clear his name but also retrieve the note and expose the true culprits. While the film's IMDb rating of 4.5/10 suggests a modest reception, its straightforward narrative and period authenticity make it a noteworthy entry in the Western genre of its era.
