FROM ROBBER TO REDEMPTION: NOTORIOUS GANGSTER TRANSFORMATION

Cinemavixion Review

Danny Dyer delves into the complex life of Steven French, a former Liverpool gangster whose notoriety stemmed from robbing drug dealers. The documentary explores French's journey from a life of crime, marked by harrowing near-death experiences, to his current role as an advocate against gang violence. Through his work with the Andrew John Memorial Skill Center, French aims to steer young people away from the path he once tread. Dyer's series also features conversations with other figures who have transitioned from backgrounds of conflict, including former terrorists and military specialists, examining their paths to reform and reconciliation with their past actions.
