FROM INSIDE

Cinemavixion Review

John Bergin's "From Inside" plunges viewers into a desolate, post-apocalyptic world aboard a damaged train, brought to life with the evocative visuals of his own graphic novel. The narrative centers on Cee, a pregnant woman navigating not only the external horrors of flood, war, and plague but also the internal landscape of grief for her lost husband. The film masterfully blends survival thriller elements with a poignant exploration of loss and the enduring hope of new life. Corryn Cummins and Megan Gold deliver compelling performances, anchoring the bleakness with Cee's quiet resilience. While the film's stark tone and grim subject matter may not appeal to all, it offers a unique and thought-provoking cinematic experience, a testament to the power of visual storytelling in the face of overwhelming adversity.
