FREEDOM FORCE

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Freedom Force,' director Eduardo Schuldt plunges viewers into a fantastical scenario where the beloved characters from Jules Verne's literary universe are inexplicably brought to life in modern-day France. What begins as an intriguing premise quickly devolves into a spectacle of unintended chaos and destruction as these resurrected figures, unaware of their impact, wreak havoc. The film attempts to blend adventure with the consequences of unchecked imagination, presenting a unique, albeit somewhat disorienting, vision. While the concept is ambitious, the execution leaves one pondering the narrative's true direction amidst the unfolding mayhem. The visual realization of Verne's iconic figures offers a curious juxtaposition against the backdrop of contemporary France, creating moments of unexpected visual flair.
