FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT: THE GENIUS OF MODERN ARCHITECTURE

Cinemavixion Review

Jonathan Adams embarks on a fascinating journey across America, tracing the indelible impact of Frank Lloyd Wright, arguably the nation's most significant architect. While Wright's American legacy is widely celebrated, Adams, a leading Welsh architect himself, seeks to uncover the less-explored Welsh roots that profoundly influenced Wright's visionary designs. The film delves into Wright's prolific career, spanning over seven decades and resulting in more than 500 structures that redefined modern architecture. Adams' exploration highlights iconic creations such as Fallingwater, lauded as a pinnacle of 20th-century residential design, and the Guggenheim Museum in New York, a revolutionary concept for art exhibition spaces. This documentary offers a compelling perspective on how geographical and cultural heritage can shape unparalleled artistic genius.
