FRACTIONAL

Cinemavixion Review

Malcolm Deegan's 'Fractional' plunges viewers into a harrowing psychological ordeal, anchored by a compelling premise. The film centers on psychiatrist John Hatchett, who awakens to a nightmarish scenario: bound and abandoned, his intellect becomes his sole recourse against an unseen tormentor. The narrative expertly weaves a tale of mental anguish and escalating desperation, exploring the blurred lines between sanity and madness. With a taut runtime and a focus on character-driven tension, 'Fractional' offers a chilling descent into the human psyche. The performances, particularly from the lead, are commendable, navigating the complex emotional landscape with intensity. While the film may not boast blockbuster accolades, its intimate exploration of psychological torment and the fight for survival makes it a noteworthy watch for those seeking a thought-provoking thriller.
