FOUR INFERNOS TO CROSS

Cinemavixion Review

"Four Infernos to Cross" plunges viewers into the heart of the Korean resistance against Japanese rule during the tumultuous years preceding World War II. This 1978 South Korean martial arts action film, directed by Ki-nam Nam, delivers a potent blend of high-stakes espionage and thrilling action sequences. The narrative centers on a critical mission undertaken by supporters of anti-Japanese guerillas: retrieving stolen funds before enemy agents can dismantle their organization. The film masterfully balances the urgency of the mission with the broader epic sweep of the Korean people's struggle for freedom. With performances from Musung Kwak and Kyehee Kim, the movie captures the courage and determination required to keep a rebellion alive against overwhelming odds. It's a compelling portrayal of resilience and a testament to the enduring fight for independence.
