FORSAKEN

Cinemavixion Review

This film presents a compelling premise centered on a priest's desperate act to save his wife, a choice that tragically unleashes vengeful spirits. The narrative explores the profound conflict between faith and desperation, delving into the dire consequences of tampering with forces beyond human understanding. The performances, particularly from the Sutherland father-son duo, anchor the emotional weight of the story. While the description hints at a supernatural thriller, the actual execution leans into the spiritual and psychological toll of the priest's actions, making for a thought-provoking, albeit dark, exploration of sacrifice and consequence.
