FORGOTTEN STOOGES

Cinemavixion Review

This compilation, "Forgotten Stooges," offers a delightful and often surprising journey into the archival depths of one of comedy's most enduring trios. Featuring the iconic Moe, Larry, and Curly, alongside later members Shemp, Joe Besser, and Curly-Joe DeRita, the collection promises rare glimpses beyond their familiar slapstick. The inclusion of outtakes, home movies, and newsreel footage suggests an intimate look at the men behind the mayhem, potentially revealing the creative process and personal moments often obscured by their on-screen personas. While the familiar antics are undoubtedly present, it's these "forgotten" elements that hold the true allure, inviting fans to appreciate the Stooges from a fresh, more personal perspective and uncover the enduring legacy of their unique brand of humor.
