Cinemavixion Review

Kevan Otto's 2016 thriller, "Forgiven," presents a tense hostage situation within a church, focusing on the intricate dynamics between Lieutenant Morgan, the hostage-taker James, and the determined Elizabeth. While the external data lists Kevin Sorbo and Jenn Gotzon in key roles, the local data cites David G. Baker, Glenn Cartwright, and Reegus Flenory. Regardless of casting nuances, the film delves into the critical moments of negotiation and rescue, with Elizabeth making the saving of James her paramount mission amidst the unfolding crisis. The film, which garnered 5 nominations, offers a compact narrative exploring themes of bravery and resolve under duress, even if its IMDb rating of 4.4 suggests a mixed reception from audiences.
