FOREVER STRONG

Cinemavixion Review

"Forever Strong" offers a compelling narrative rooted in the world of high school rugby, exploring themes of redemption and second chances. The film centers on a talented but troubled young player whose life takes a drastic turn, leading him to a juvenile detention center. It's within this challenging environment that he finds an unexpected path through the Highland Rugby team, guided by a coach with a philosophy focused on character development before athletic prowess. While external data indicates a mixed critical reception, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 30% and a Metacritic score of 37/100, the film's strength lies in its earnest portrayal of personal transformation. The plot, which culminates in a championship game against his father's team, provides a dramatic arc that resonates with sports drama enthusiasts. Directed by Ryan Little and starring Sean Faris and Penn Badgley, "Forever Strong" is a story that champions resilience and the possibility of rebuilding one's life, even from the lowest points.
