FORBIDDEN WOMAN

Cinemavixion Review

Clyde Risley Jones and Charles R. Penland's 2013 drama, "Forbidden Woman," delves into the treacherous territory of workplace ambition and illicit desire. The film centers on Elston, a loyal employee who finds his career aspirations derailed when he becomes entangled with Vanessa, the alluring and manipulative wife of his boss, Randall Trace. Played by Jessica Barrow, Denee Busby, and Marla Gibbs, the cast navigates a narrative that explores themes of trust, betrayal, and the dangerous consequences of forbidden love. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, its exploration of a complex moral quandary offers a compelling, albeit cautionary, tale of ambition and its pitfalls within the corporate world.
