FORBIDDEN TANGO

Cinemavixion Review

This charming fable, "Forbidden Tango," presents a delightful quandary: can an Orthodox Rabbi compete in a high-stakes dance competition without compromising his faith? The premise alone sparks curiosity, as the very nature of tango requires a physical closeness forbidden by his beliefs. Yet, the allure of saving his school from financial ruin provides a compelling motivation. The narrative promises a journey where tradition and passion collide, exploring the delicate balance between religious observance and the pursuit of a dream. As the dancer and Rabbi devise a plan to navigate these challenges, the film delves into the strength of family, community, and the unexpected ways faith can be tested and affirmed through dazzling dance steps. It's a story that champions ingenuity and the enduring power of conviction, wrapped in a lighthearted and engaging package.
