Cinemavixion Review

"Food Fight: Inside the Battle for Market Basket" is a compelling documentary that masterfully chronicles the dramatic 2014 corporate battle within the New England supermarket chain. Director Jay Childs crafts a narrative that transcends a typical business story, transforming it into a profound examination of the power wielded by ordinary people against corporate giants. The film, as Esquire aptly noted, positions the struggle as "the last stand for the middle class," highlighting the passionate dedication of employees and customers alike in their fight to save a beloved institution. This is more than just a recounting of events; it's an inspiring testament to collective action and the potential for individuals to reshape corporate destinies, making it a must-watch for anyone interested in the human side of business and community.
