Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the enigmatic 'Foo Fighters,' unexplained aerial phenomena reported by Allied pilots during World War II. The episode probes potential explanations, ranging from advanced German weaponry like the V2 rocket to more speculative, sinister origins. Beyond the central mystery, the program broadens its scope to encompass other lesser-known, yet equally compelling, wartime narratives. It touches upon the clandestine activities of a British SS unit, the peculiar tale of an aristocrat's attempted overtures to Hitler, and a daring, unconventional plan by a US dentist to deploy killer bats against Japan. The inclusion of an unresolved Polish mass grave adds another layer of historical intrigue. 'World War Weird' offers a fascinating glimpse into the stranger, often overlooked, corners of military history, promising viewers a collection of engaging and dramatic stories from pivotal conflicts.
