Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a unique and visceral journey into the heart of a pivotal World War II aerial engagement. Following historian Dan Snow as he experiences a flight in the sole surviving Fairey Swordfish torpedo bomber, the film brings to life the daring 'Operation Judgement' against the Italian fleet at Taranto. The intimate perspective from the cockpit of this historic bi-plane, combined with archival research including a veteran's diary and interviews, provides a powerful human dimension to the technical and strategic aspects of the raid. It's a compelling exploration of bravery, historical significance, and the enduring legacy of a remarkable aircraft, serving as a potent reminder of the courage displayed by those who flew into danger.
