FLIGHT 313 - THE CONSPIRACY

Cinemavixion Review

Tristan Loraine's "Flight 313 - The Conspiracy" plunges viewers into the opaque world of aviation, where a journalist's pursuit of truth unearths a deeply buried conspiracy. The film skillfully weaves a narrative around investigative journalist Helen Eastman, who, upon returning to the UK, finds her air traffic controller boyfriend Joe suspended after a mysterious safety incident. Eastman's journalistic instincts are immediately piqued by the lack of transparency surrounding 'Flight 313', setting her on a path to uncover uncomfortable realities within the aviation industry. Supported by her editor Nick Robertson and trainee Natasha Stevens, Eastman navigates a landscape of denial and evasion, revealing that this safety issue is not an isolated event. The introduction of Captain David Morris's wife, Isabelle, and JASP Air's CEO Ben Tyrell, further complicates the unfolding drama, as they too begin to question the industry's practices. The film powerfully explores the moral quandary between corporate profit and public safety, highlighting the risks faced by both pilots and passengers. With a compelling plot inspired by actual events and a strong cast including Marina Sirtis, Stephen Tompkinson, and Nicholas Day, "Flight 313" is a gripping examination of the lengths to which powerful entities will go to maintain silence.
