FLEMINGTON ARMED ROBBERY

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into a specific criminal event, the Flemington armed robbery of January 25, 2002. The narrative outlines the theft of $150,000 from security guards during an ATM loading, highlighting key details like the location in inner Melbourne. Intriguingly, the investigation hinges on seemingly minor clues—orange rope and a green floral print—left at the scene. The film explores how these forensic fragments become crucial in the police's pursuit of the perpetrators, offering a procedural look at crime-solving and the unexpected pathways that can lead to justice. It poses a compelling question about the effectiveness of small pieces of evidence in cracking significant cases.
