FLEE THE LIGHT

Cinemavixion Review

In "Flee the Light," director Alexandra Senza crafts a chilling narrative that delves into the unsettling bond between two sisters, Andra and Delfi. The film masterfully blurs the lines between psychosis and the supernatural as Delfi, a psychology student, attempts to cure her sister's afflictions. What begins as a quest for healing spirals into a desperate fight for survival when they uncover an ancient creature with sinister intentions. The performances, particularly from Annie Tuma and Ariana Marquis, are compelling, anchoring the film's descent into psychological horror. While the IMDb rating suggests a divisive reception, the film's exploration of familial trauma and the nature of belief offers a thought-provoking, albeit dark, cinematic experience that lingers long after the credits roll. "Flee the Light" is a commendable entry into the horror genre, offering a unique blend of psychological dread and supernatural menace.
