FLASHBACK

Cinemavixion Review

Embarking on a journey through a hilariously distorted vision of Hollywood's future, "Flashback" delivers a zany sci-fi comedy that playfully satirizes the film industry. The narrative plunges us into a world where a sinister soda corporation has seized control of a movie studio, robots are the new workforce, and time travel is the latest cinematic gimmick. Our unlikely hero, Jack Taylor, a humble janitor, stumbles into a corporate conspiracy while attempting to woo a starlet, inadvertently commandeering a time machine. What follows is a chaotic, action-packed adventure filled with furious executives, velociraptors, and legions of robots. While the film may not boast critical acclaim, its ambitious blend of science fiction tropes and Hollywood satire offers a unique, albeit campy, viewing experience for those who appreciate a good parody.
