FINDING DESMOND

Cinemavixion Review

Antonio Jefferson's 'Finding Desmond' offers a poignant dive into the life of its titular character, a young man forced into the shadows by circumstances beyond his control. The narrative, driven by Jefferson's dual role as director and actor, masterfully portrays Desmond's struggle for survival and identity on the unforgiving streets. Jefferson, alongside a committed performance from George McGill and a notable turn by Urssula Waters, crafts a compelling drama that explores themes of loss, resilience, and the search for belonging. While the film's intimate scope and raw depiction of hardship may resonate deeply, it is the underlying human story that truly anchors its impact. 'Finding Desmond' is a testament to independent filmmaking, delivering a powerful emotional journey that lingers long after the credits roll.
