FILM OR REALITY? THE BOX

Cinemavixion Review

Sasha Sibley's 'FILM or REALITY? The Box' plunges viewers into a disorienting narrative where the lines between performance and psychosis blur. The film centers on a struggling actor whose audition for a role becomes a terrifying descent into a recurring nightmare that mirrors the very film he's trying to secure. Graham Jenkins delivers a compelling performance as the protagonist, grappling with an increasingly fragile grip on reality. Supported by Katy Bodenhamer and Nick DiCola, the film masterfully builds a sense of unease, questioning the nature of perception and the consuming power of art. It's a thought-provoking exploration of the psychological toll of ambition and the uncanny parallels that can emerge when art imitates life, or perhaps, life imitates art.
