FILES ON JFK

Cinemavixion Review

This compelling 2003 documentary, "Files On JFK," offers a rare and unsettling glimpse into the alleged machinations surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Filmed within the confines of Stateville Correctional Center, it features an extended prison interview with James E. Files. Investigator Joe West, initially following an FBI lead, gradually builds rapport with Files, who claims intimate knowledge of organized crime and government operations pertinent to the event. Files's narrative, as presented here, is a direct account from someone purporting to have been involved in the planning and execution of the assassination. The raw, unvarnished setting of the interview underscores the gravity of the claims, inviting viewers to confront controversial historical perspectives and the enduring questions that continue to surround this pivotal moment in American history.
