This film chronicles the perilous journey of a young Ovid, whose literary endeavors, specifically a guide to love and seduction, place him in direct conflict with the ruling emperor. The narrative promises a compelling exploration of artistic freedom versus authoritarian control, set against a backdrop where passion and politics intertwine. As Ovid navigates the dangerous currents of imperial displeasure, the story delves into the courage required to express oneself, even when such expression challenges the established order.
