FAMILY GAMES

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Family Games,' Sloane and her boyfriend Barrett descend upon her childhood home with a singular, disruptive purpose: to sabotage her father Roan's impending remarriage. What begins as a calculated act of familial sabotage quickly unravels into a labyrinth of buried secrets and unsettling revelations. The film, directed by Suzuya Bobo, masterfully navigates the complex dynamics of family, obligation, and the often-painful truths that lie beneath the surface of polite society. Megan Boone leads a compelling cast, delivering a performance that captures Sloane's internal conflict with raw intensity. As the narrative progresses, the initial premise of a simple family feud blossoms into a thought-provoking exploration of legacy and the choices that shape our future. The film invites viewers to ponder the true nature of family ties and the enduring impact of past actions.
