FAIRPLAY (1971)

Cinemavixion Review

In James A. Sullivan's 1971 Western, 'Fairplay,' the narrative unfolds with the arrival of Teddy, a hopeful young man seeking his uncle, F.O. McGill. Teddy's idealized vision of his uncle as a spa owner is quickly shattered upon discovering McGill presides over a rough-and-tumble saloon, a haven for notorious outlaws. The film plunges into a world far removed from Teddy's expectations, setting the stage for potential conflict and character development within the harsh landscape of the Wild West. While the plot summary is brief, it establishes a classic Western premise of innocence confronting corruption.
