EXPLOSIVE INJUSTICE: POLICE MILITARISATION & BLACK NATIONALISM EXPOSED

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the harrowing events of 1985 Philadelphia, where an act of state-sanctioned violence against the MOVE organization irrevocably scarred the city's history. The film critically examines the escalating militarization of police forces and its disproportionate impact on Black communities, framing the tragedy as a stark illustration of systemic dehumanization. By exploring the roots of Black nationalism and the persistent disenfranchisement that continues to fuel contemporary movements like Black Lives Matter, "Explosive Injustice" challenges simplistic narratives of American exceptionalism. It serves as a vital, unflinching look at the enduring legacy of institutionalized racism and the persistent struggle for liberation and justice.
