EXIT SPEED

Cinemavixion Review

Scott Ziehl's 'Exit Speed' plunges viewers into a harrowing fight for survival, transforming a seemingly ordinary holiday bus trip into a brutal nocturnal siege. The film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread as a group of strangers, stranded in a desolate scrap yard after an encounter with a ruthless biker gang, must shed their inhibitions and improvise weapons to defend themselves. The narrative, featuring strong performances from Lea Thompson and Desmond Harrington, explores themes of desperation and resilience under extreme duress. While the external data notes a 2008 release and a 5.2 IMDb rating, the core of the film's tension lies in its raw depiction of ordinary people pushed to extraordinary measures. It's a lean, mean thriller that delivers visceral action and a potent message about finding strength when escape is no longer an option.
