Scott Ziehl's 'Exit Speed' plunges viewers into a harrowing Christmas Eve ordeal where ten strangers find their cross-country bus trip violently interrupted by a ruthless biker gang. Stranded in a desolate scrap yard, the passengers, including performances from Desmond Harrington and Lea Thompson, must transform from victims into aggressors. The film masterfully builds tension as their numbers dwindle, forcing a desperate, primal fight for survival against overwhelming odds. While the narrative leans into familiar survival thriller tropes, the gritty execution and the escalating desperation of the characters make for a compelling, albeit grim, viewing experience.
