In a chilling twist of fate, the oppressive walls of a maximum-security prison become the stage for a meta-narrative of terror. Just as a notorious serial killer is set to meet his end, a violent riot shatters the facility's grim order. Eighteen months later, the very same prison, now a relic of its former notoriety, is chosen by a group of filmmakers to serve as the backdrop for a new women-in-prison movie. Drawing inspiration from the genre's cult classics like 'Caged Heat' and 'The Big Doll House,' the production attempts to capture a raw, gritty aesthetic.
