EVIL UNMASKED: THE STRANGLER DOSSIERS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the dark heart of South Africa's Kwazulu-Natal, unmasking the chilling case of Sipho Dube. Set in the seemingly tranquil rural village of Umhluwayo, the film meticulously pieces together the horrific crimes of a man whose terror left an indelible scar on the community. Dube, emerging from a religious upbringing, unleashed a reign of violence that culminated in his 2006 conviction for the murders of six children and numerous other heinous acts, including rape and assault. The documentary captures the chilling details of his unrepentant demeanor throughout the trial, his utter contempt for the judicial process, and his sentence of ten life sentences plus 114 years. 'Evil Unmasked' serves as a stark, disturbing exploration of true crime, posing profound questions about the nature of evil itself.
