EVIL SLEEPS

Cinemavixion Review

This independent drama, 'Evil Sleeps', plunges into the raw realities of addiction and strained relationships. The narrative centers on Jim and Nora, a couple seeking refuge and sobriety in Nora's ancestral Irish home, a stark departure from their lives in New York. The film unflinchingly portrays the challenges of confronting a shared drinking problem, set against the backdrop of familial obligations and the quiet intensity of rural life. While the directorial vision and specific cast performances are not detailed here, the premise promises a compelling exploration of personal demons and the complex dynamics that emerge when a couple is forced to face their issues in isolation. The intimate setting and the universal theme of seeking redemption offer a potent foundation for a character-driven story.
