EVIL AT THE DOOR

Cinemavixion Review

The independent horror-thriller "Evil At The Door" plunges viewers into a chilling scenario where a city braces for the "Night of the Locusts," an annual period marked by brutal home invasions. The narrative intensifies with the unexpected arrival of an estranged sister, forcing the protagonists to confront not only external threats but also their own fractured relationship. Director Kipp Tribble, who also penned the script, delivers a suspenseful tale reminiscent of effective siege thrillers like "The Purge" and "You're Next." While the film's IMDb rating of 2.5/10 suggests a challenging reception, its premise offers a tense exploration of survival and familial dynamics under extreme duress. The compact runtime of 82 minutes ensures a brisk pace as the sisters battle for their lives against the encroaching terror.
