EVERYDAY MIRACLES

Cinemavixion Review

Marty Madden's "Everyday Miracles" offers a compelling narrative centered on Cotton Welles, a faith healer grappling with a tumultuous past. Gary Cole delivers a grounded performance as a rancher who offers Welles a chance at redemption, while Erik Smith embodies the internal conflict of a man torn between his extraordinary abilities and a desire for ordinary peace. The film thoughtfully explores themes of faith, redemption, and the corrupting influence of exploitation, particularly as Welles's mother seeks to capitalize on his gifts. Despite its dramatic premise, the movie finds moments of quiet beauty and genuine connection, supported by the performances of Zoe Perry and Dani Fish. While the external data notes a respectable 6.0 IMDb rating and a few accolades, the core strength lies in its character-driven story and Madden's sensitive direction, making it a poignant exploration of finding solace amidst extraordinary circumstances.
