EVEN TRADE

Cinemavixion Review

Michael Merrill's "Even Trade" delves into the complex and often brutal intersection of loyalty, ambition, and the criminal underworld. Set against a backdrop where power and money threaten to dismantle even the most sacred bonds, the film explores the age-old question of whether blood is truly thicker than water. The narrative compellingly pits childhood friendships against the allure of legitimacy, forcing characters to confront difficult choices about their allegiances and future. With a runtime of 120 minutes and a cast including David Newman, Faris FayCurry, and Ceasar FayCurry, the movie promises a gritty examination of how societal pressures and personal desires can lead to division. The Internet Movie Database rating of 5.7/10 suggests a film that, while perhaps not universally acclaimed, offers a thought-provoking, albeit potentially dark, cinematic experience worth exploring for fans of crime dramas.
