EVEL KNIEVEL

Cinemavixion Review

This biographical drama offers a compelling look into the life of the legendary motorcycle daredevil, Evel Knievel. Directed by Marvin J. Chomsky, the film stars George Hamilton in a performance that captures the spirit and ambition of its subject. Filmed partly in Knievel's hometown of Butte, Montana, the narrative unfolds as Knievel reflects on pivotal moments in his life leading up to a significant jump. While the film received a mixed reception, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 40% and an IMDb rating of 5.2, it remains a noteworthy portrayal of an iconic American figure. The inclusion of Knievel's personal reflections adds a layer of introspection to the high-stakes action, making it more than just a stuntman's story. It's a journey through the triumphs and struggles of a man who dared to defy gravity and convention.
