ESCAPE FROM DS-3

Cinemavixion Review

Robert Emenegger and Allan Sandler's 1981 science fiction thriller, "Escape from DS-3," presents a compelling narrative of wrongful accusation and desperate survival. Jackson Bostwick anchors the film as a man framed for a crime and incarcerated in a maximum-security satellite prison. The film excels in its depiction of the claustrophobic environment of the prison, amplifying the protagonist's struggle for freedom. While perhaps not a mainstream blockbuster, "Escape from DS-3" offers a taut and engaging plot, bolstered by the committed performances of Bostwick, Cameron Mitchell Jr., and David Chandler. Its gritty atmosphere and straightforward storytelling make it a noteworthy entry in the sci-fi crime genre, rewarding viewers who appreciate a focused, character-driven escape narrative.
