Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, 'Huge Moves,' showcases the extraordinary feats of engineering required to relocate historic homes. The episode features two compelling narratives: one where a family estate, including its farmhouse and even outbuildings, is meticulously dismantled and reassembled half a kilometer away to avoid redevelopment, preserving its legacy. The second story follows the ambitious project of moving a century-old home in Nova Scotia closer to its owner's workplace. The episode highlights the intricate planning, skilled execution, and emotional significance involved in saving these architectural treasures from demolition or displacement.
