EMULATION

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Emulation,' director Tom Getty crafts a suspenseful narrative centered around Noah Wilson, an ordinary college student thrust into an extraordinary predicament. As the FBI's Most Wanted, Noah finds himself on the run, his life irrevocably altered by a seemingly innocuous experience offered by the Emulation Corporation. What began as a simulated thriller—tasked with identifying a CIA mole—quickly devolves into a harrowing reality, implicating Noah in a murder case. The film explores the blurred lines between simulation and reality, questioning the consequences of immersive experiences when they transcend their intended boundaries. Getty, who also stars in the film alongside Jeff Howanek and Christian M. Condrick, delivers a tense exploration of identity, deception, and the perilous nature of living someone else's life, even if that life is supposedly your own.
