EMERGING PAST

Cinemavixion Review

Thomas J. Churchill's 'Emerging Past' plunges viewers into a chilling narrative centered around Queens-based photographer Pamela Garret. When her lens inadvertently captures a horrifying ritualistic sacrifice, Garret finds herself ensnared in a rapidly escalating spiral of murder and mystery. The film masterfully blurs the lines of reality as sinister forces converge, forcing Garret to confront a past that threatens to obliterate her future. With a runtime of 90 minutes, this independent thriller, released in 2017, is noted for its suspenseful plot and exploration of dark themes, featuring performances from actors such as Krista Grotte and Stephen Geoffreys. While not a mainstream blockbuster, 'Emerging Past' offers a compelling dive into the psychological and supernatural, making it a noteworthy watch for fans of the horror and mystery genres.
