ELEPHANT WHITE

Cinemavixion Review

In the gritty underworld of Bangkok, "Elephant White" plunges viewers into a brutal narrative of revenge and redemption. The film, directed by Prachya Pinkaew, features a compelling performance from Djimon Hounsou as an assassin tasked with dismantling a human trafficking ring. Kevin Bacon adds gravitas as a key figure in the city's shadowy economy. While the plot navigates familiar revenge thriller tropes, the visceral action sequences and the stark portrayal of the sex trade lend it a raw intensity. The film's exploration of moral ambiguity, particularly through Hounsou's character, offers a grim yet thought-provoking examination of justice in a corrupt world. Despite its darker themes, "Elephant White" delivers a solid action-thriller experience, elevated by its capable leads and atmospheric setting.
