EL ARCA

Cinemavixion Review

Juan Pablo Buscarini's 'El Arca' presents a unique animated take on the biblical tale of Noah's Ark. Set against the impending Great Flood, the narrative focuses on Noah's monumental task of constructing the ark and gathering two of every creature. However, the film delves deeper than a simple survival story, exploring the interpersonal dynamics within Noah's family, particularly the strained relationships between his daughters-in-law. Adding to the tension, the animal kingdom itself is rife with conflict, with the lion Tanga's reign challenged by the tiger Tartarus. This animated feature offers a blend of adventure and domestic drama, set against a backdrop of divine mandate and natural catastrophe.
