E TANTA PAURA

Cinemavixion Review

Paolo Cavara's 1976 giallo, "E tanta paura," plunges viewers into a disturbing world of brutal murders. The narrative centers on two gruesome killings: a man strangled by a prostitute in his home and a woman bludgeoned with a wrench on an empty bus. The killer's chilling signature is the deliberate placement of an illustration from the children's book "Peter la testa dura" at each crime scene. As the investigation unfolds, the enigmatic trail leads to an exclusive and secretive club known as "Gli amici di Wildlife." This film, starring Corinne Cléry, Michele Placido, and Quinto Parmeggiani, offers a suspenseful and grim exploration of the darker side of human nature, characteristic of the giallo genre.
