DUTERTE'S DRUG WAR

Cinemavixion Review

This award-winning investigative series plunges viewers into the clandestine world of crime and injustice that permeates Asia. Through daring undercover reporting, "Duterte's Drug War" (part of the broader "Undercover Asia" series) fearlessly navigates the shadows, unearthing stories of immense brutality and systemic corruption. The series excels in its unflinching portrayal of the devastating impact of Duterte's controversial anti-drug campaign in the Philippines, presenting a raw and often harrowing account. Beyond this central focus, the broader "Undercover Asia" initiative casts a wide net, exploring equally disturbing facets of the continent, from the grip of jailed terrorists in Indonesia to the plight of child slaves in Myanmar and the insidious reach of North Korean cybercrime. It is a vital, albeit difficult, watch for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the complex socio-political landscapes shaping modern Asia.
