DUTCH KILLS

Cinemavixion Review

Joseph Mazzella's 'Dutch Kills' plunges viewers into the gritty underbelly of crime, offering a suspenseful narrative that explores the complex dynamics of loyalty and desperation. The film centers on Valentino, a reformed criminal compelled by a corrupt officer to reunite his former crew for a perilous final heist. This endeavor is fraught with peril, as their past incarcerations loom large and the crew is composed of young ex-cons still finding their footing. The plot masterfully tightens the screws as it becomes apparent that everyone involved has their own agenda, and trust is a luxury none can afford. With compelling performances and a taut direction, 'Dutch Kills' delivers a gripping crime thriller that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats, questioning who can be trusted until the very end.
