Cinemavixion Review

Mario Pinzauti's 1975 crime drama, "Due Magnum 38 per una Città di carogne" (often translated as "Two .38s for a City of Scum"), plunges into the grimy underbelly of Rome. The narrative follows Franco, a down-on-his-luck writer, as he searches for his former secretary and lover, Silvia. His quest leads him to discover her ensnared in the city's prostitution rings. Driven by a mix of personal desperation and a thirst for justice, Franco decides to unravel the mystery behind the organization controlling these illicit activities. The film features a cast including Dino Strano, Richard Lloyd, Luigi Pistilli, and Gianni Musy, promising a gritty exploration of corruption and personal vendetta within the Italian crime genre.
